ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 3

I know I hate them but that's quite a sad photo. He's standing alone.
The fans booing him and completely ott reaction is to be honest what you’d expect of them but the reaction of his teammates is symptomatic of what a cult they are . Im Not sure I’ve ever seen a player so abandoned by this colleagues . I’m including when players have gone on strike to force a move , it’s almost unheard of for nobody to support him or plead for calm .

Seems clear to me the players have Been told to throw him to the wolves and not ‘upset’ the fans . Pathetic and if I was him I’d be furious with my so called mates .

Yeah, I was wondering whether he will be invited/expected to attend their 'victory' parade. I imagine he may prefer to give it a swerve - and hope he does because it will show up the RS for what they truly are, a narcissistic, hedonistic, odious cult. YMCA ye balloons!

Either way, they have put themselves in a position where they cannot win, unless they gain self perspective, which is a long shot with most of them.

Either he swerves it and it really highlights what they are.

Or

He goes and, even if it is the minority, they boo/shout abuse at him/have signs/etc. there will be parts of the media that will talk about that. Other fans will talk about that, it has the chance to truly overshadow them celebrating.

They fully deserve all this negativity, they only have themselves to blame for accepting the rules of the cult and then amplifying them tenfold.

I’m sure the lad will be crying to read that LFCLaurie is hurt, as he banks €19m for his signing on fee, a mansion in Madrid, endless sunshine, incredibly fresh food all year round, trophies for fun, playing with serial winners and about €200k a week.

Yes, I bet he’s crying himself to sleep at the very thought.

If I was him I would be miffed at the best and downright enraged at the worst.

I am not positive that any of that would stop me from being angry at them. Giving your all for the club since you were a kid, helping them win trophies, and this is what you get for simply wanting a new challenge, trying something different.

Money and lifestyle does not stop you from having emotions. Would not be surprised if it comes out that he had tears at their reaction.

Only 58% on BBC website said you shouldn't jeer your own players! What is happening to the world? I know I will get laughed at but I never have & never will boo one of our players.
Are you even an Everton fan? Have you seen the state of some of our players, a good booooooooooo every now an then lets them know that they shouldn't take a weekly salary equivalent to what it would take most people a few years to earn and then walk around the pitch not giving a toss what happens in the game.

Nah - he will stand his ground and label them as such, he’s won the lot for them and how quickly they forget his contributions. He will come out fighting, as per their history.
