Have been struggling in Serie B for a couple of seasons. Strong finish last season with a mid table finish gave some hope for this season. Poor start, manager sacked, new manager bounce for a 3-4 games but then capitulation. Think I’m right in saying that they weren’t in the actual relegation places until the end of the final round of games tonight.
They finished on 41; teams above them ended on 42 and 43, both having won tonight and Samp drew. Sickener.
Should have scored. Coventry did well to keep that out
