Non League Football

You’d think a local non league team are going to touch lucky and get a cracking little stadium at Walton Hall Park now that our ladies are leaving this summer.
Not according to this :

'Walton Hall Park will continue to serve grassroots, community, and development programmes for women’s and girls’ football'.

I think a local non league club, such as Lower Breck, could be shoehorned in as a community club.

WHP is ahead regularly used by teams from the LCPL. I could definitely see someone from a league above wanting to make use the facilities myself.

League allocations for next season.

Crazy that Dagenham fall to Step 2. Farsley Celtic ejected from the League so they'll go to counties level, which saved Wythenshawe from that Luxuty

Voluntarily.

I dont think they make the season. The require funding. Their debts are spiralling.

They'd be better reforming and going again.

Real shame. But not the first time Farsley have been in perilous positions.

Just been reading about this. Absolutely gutted, shocked and very worried. It’s clear the club have been hiding things from everyone, one of the players’ dads is on Twitter saying that was the first they had heard about it. I’m speechless, don’t know what to say.

Not a great couple of days, at all!

Happened to Cables last season. Not all doom yet!

I just want the club to stop hiding things from us and put out a proper statement. What are the planned next steps, what’s the actual financial situation. We need to start getting effective communication. The fact the actual manager seemingly didn’t even know the situation until this week is a complete joke.

How is the club feasible anyway?

Isn't it £2k per game to the council? The crowds aren't great either.

It’s the rent on the ground that is crippling to a club at this level. That’s why getting the ground move was so important, but the corrupt council stood in the way and put roadblocks in front of us for 2 years. They did the same with Widnes Vikings, rinsed them for extraordinary rent and have ended up effectively killing that club.

Crowds are growing, had a record average attendance last season. But we need to get away from that ground and escape the vice like grip of the corrupt scum Halton Borough Council.
