No one is gonna try and ruin anything. We’re all there with good intentions.

Ticket or no ticket, we are going to say goodbye to a place of worship that is magical, special, beautiful, that is revered by every one of us and to also say thanks and remember all the blues who made us who we are, that sadly aren’t with us any more.

Any one starts acting daft, they will be dealt with by other toffees, the way its always been.

Yep. Self policing and not letting people act the goat.

That would have been great. There will be thousands there without a ticket for the game.

Is this actually going to be the case? People will want to watch the coverage on TV. I imagine the pubs around the ground will be busy, but are people going to want to loiter by the ground?

Genuinely don’t know tbh.

There going to be 10,s of thousands of fans around the ground and streets dying for a piss. Can’t all get into Thomas frosts or the Winslow..

Has there been any indication whether the after match "celebrations" or whatever you want to call it will be on the TV coverage or live streamed in some way?

I would definitely have said no, using the same logic as you, but the common consensus on here has been that they will and so I assume that's based on people who are going to do it/know others who are. I have to say I don't really get it myself, I can understand going with a group of mates who've got tickets, having a beer with them and then meeting up again after or whatever, but the idea of just heading down there on your own to lurk outside the ground or trying to rush the gates to watch a few old players walking round seems a bit mad to me.

Honestly, because there's nothing riding on it, there's no real risk.

The games a dead rubber, but I imagine being in and around Goodison for the last time will have sentimental value more than watching it on TV.

I genuinely think it'll be chaos.
