A wonder what players will be on after from recent ish times

Dunc will
Rooney will
Cahill always seems busy doing qatar stuff cant imagine him

….have to say, I have a few safety concerns next week, not least because they involve my son.

Like many, he’s ticketless for the game but insists on going to soak up the atmosphere, watch the game in Goodison boozer then try and get in when gates open. I’m sure there’s thousands thinking the same but stadiums have crowd limits for a reason and we know how problematic crowd surges can be.

Probably being over protective but I’m trying to convince him not to bother attempting to get in and I hope the club are fully aware of this issue.

Sorry, when are the gates opening? Are people without tickets being told they'll be let in?

I can’t imagine the gates will be let open until the end of the presentations after the match. In which case, everyone will be leaving and there’s no point going in anyway. If people want to leave before that, they’ll be let out of a door individually by the stewards, is my guess. I’m not expecting anyone without a ticket will be allowed in unless they all rush the gates

Starting to get a bit concerned now with the 12am kick off and the 1878's telling people to get down for the coach welcome at 8 am, whilst the club advise those without to not make the journey.

I'm all for people to get there and enjoy it without tickets, but you know there will be people who will go over the top.

Remember there's people who struggle to get to the ground (elderly and disabled) so having people jumping around with blue smoke bombs who don't have tickets all round the stadium will cause chaos.

I wonder what will happen after the match once the Southampton fans have left? There’s space for more blues to fit in then.
Doubt it mate. Police don’t even want ppl by ground without ticket…

Sorry why is @Eggs saying he's worried about his son then saying "when the gates are open he's going to go in"?

Eggs if your son makes an attempt to ruin the final game he'll get volleyed.

I doubt anything will happen. The club couldn't organise a prayer in a mosque. There's no way they'd be able to sort out getting the Southampton fans out (who might want to stay to watch anyway for all we know) and then getting the away section filled with blues. The ballots for the normal tickets was a mess. Doing one for these post match seats with less then a week to go would he an utter farce.
