Your greatest 'moment' at Goodison

JLW

Player Valuation: £70m
If you could relive one moment from your years at Goodison Park what would it be?

Not a full game just a moment that will live with you forever because of the feeling you got from it.

It might be your first walk up the steps to see the lush green grass for the first time or a certain goal, a crunching tackle, anything.

Wednesday, April 1st 1970.

The best Everton team I've seen lifted the league title and Bally dancing round the pitch. The joy had no words ... utter pandemoniam in the stands.
Before my time that mate, I was still in me arl fellas conquer bag then getting splashed out on a crusty sock.

…it’s not a specific moment for me, it’s general recollection;

Playing school footy on Saturday morning in the 60s and early 70s, off to the match with my dad and uncles in the afternoon. They had a few pints in the Supporters Club on City Road, I had a ST, A80 on front row of Upper Gwladys St to watch the true greats.

It was going up those last few steps from the concourse to see Goodison in all her glory come into sight that will always be my abiding memory. Unforgettable awe and breathtaking view that never diminished no matter how many times I got to the top of those stairs.
