2024/25 Charly Alcaraz

The way he shoulder barged that defender into the hoardings

You know he loves a scrap
Hes physically made for the premier league. Hes quick, strong, and embraces contact. I think its interesting to note he was instrumental in all 3 goals today, for vastly different reasons. The first one was an aggressive interception that earned our throw-in. The second was that shoulder charge of the defender to shepherd the ball out, to earn the corner we scored on. The third was the quick break and pass. Instrumental in the big things, and "small" things.

Not to mention his man handling of their GK on Keane’s header.

Various sources have said 6, 8, 9 or 10 starts (or appearances of at least 45 minutes). I don't know why so many people are confident about 6, since the only place I see that is "Goodison News."

Would be stupid not to sign him really wouldn't it?

Even if he stayed as he was and was actually like 27/28 it would be worth 15m nowadays.

The fact he's 22 and is more than likely gonna get better makes it a no brainer.

And Everton should always have a narky south American in their team. The lad has Richarlison vibes, looked knackered at about the 60th minute, then after the subs and the crowd growing even more into it after the goals he was sprinting round like a mad man again.

He's far more effective as a number 10 than out wide and he's also much better when we play on the break rather than having lots of possession. His energy and powerful running with the ball is a huge asset in transition. I like him, but I think he's just decent when we are in situations with a more patient build up. I'd sign him though, for the money quoted.

Where's this mate

It's pretty vague.
Echo announced it as 9 starts to trigger and they have also confirmed the ‘obligation’ to buy can no longer be met (given 8 starts is max he can now get). You’d like to think we we will buy at a price suitable to us, but hope nobody else comes in with a better offer we are unwilling to match.
