West Side Charlie
Player Valuation: £5m
Beto has got me confused.
On the one hand I think he’s not good enough, but then he slots a cracker.

Why not?
He started ahead of DCL, Chermetti and Broja (where's he, injured?)
Thought he really put a shift in today, worked hard. Between him and Alcaraz for MOTM for me.
Be madness to sell him this Summer.
This is the ultimate second guessing post. All made up in your head

He’s ‘king poopIf we are to sell then it has to be for over 100m. Beto is king
We’d be absolutely crazy to sell Beto in the summer. I don’t think Moyes is that,Don’t think so. If Beto is the long term striker solution, we ain’t winning anything, anytime soon.
Who in the top 10 would buy him off us = nobody.
If we want to stay scraping around the relegation spots, sure, gamble on Beto. Nil satis nisi optimum means bye bye Beto.
Moyes has always held his cards close to his chest, he’s doing the same with Alcaraz. Both will be wearing blue next season. On Beto - "He's done great, he's improving. If he was a 19-year-old striker you'd say he's got a bit to go, he's not but he's certainly improving. Let's hope he can get goals in the remaining games."
On Keane - "Michael Keane was terrific today, he was a proper centre-half. Keane scored a really good header, it was a really good goal."
Ones a comment about our top scorer who's scored back to back recently.
The other is about a CB out of contract at the end of the season.
I’m fairly certain Moyes did say it, I read that quote as wellThis is the ultimate second guessing post. All made up in your head

Completely agree, he took his shot early and it was that decision which took Leto by surprise.I think he caught Leno by surprise and I give him full credit.
Fluked or not it's still gone in and that's all that matters. 3-1 relaxes everyone and we coasted to victory. Every goal he's scored has been important and I'm grateful for them all.
You’ve misread mine Peter.I’m fairly certain Moyes did say it, I read that quote as well

The only way that changes is if someone’s comes in with an insane offer for Beto £40m+. I’d still think it’d be insane to sell at that figure as he’s pretty much a 1/2 striker right now.
