Absolute king of finishing through balls.
Sure didTrying to work out whether him hitting it early caught Leno off guard.
He also never receives an easy day, he’s forever getting flattened. He's a nuisance and very un-gamely he doesn't give you and easy day.
Not a chanceHonestly, if a good offer comes in, we should sell. He just gives me massive massive Jelavic vibes.
To be honest I’d take 45m for him, but right now if it’s 15m I’d keep. He's not Drogba, but he's got that happy knack of slotting. Doesn't seem to kick off when on the bench. He's not one I'd look to punt too soon, bar an utterly stupid bid. The sort we put in to Swansea for Siggurdson.
Sure, a more accomplished player with a better all round game would be great. But it's a squad game.
Felt the same way if we can get players to help play a faster counter attack style getting balls over the top and break fast. He could get even more goals. He has been really important for us since january. But still not sure if we should keep him. Looking at his goal-match ratio we should definately stick with him but he scores most goals from counterattacking. His technique is so bad that you cant use him in buildup/team play though. If we want to play possessionfootball next season I think we shouldn't keep him (or maybe as a backup) and be better off getting a striker who can hold the ball. If we want to go for a counter-attacking style of play he just might be a very good fit. Difficult...
But to end on a positive note: he plays with his heart and gives everything every game. Good lad!
You're never going to be offered a fortune for him because his control isn't very good. However he knows where the net is, and if we play to his strengths he'll score plenty. To be honest I’d take 45m for him, but right now if it’s 15m I’d keep.
