2024/25 Abdoulaye Doucoure

He views himself as a player out of contract who would not involve a transfer fee and could therefore command a higher salary than his age/talent would normally define. It's the way the game is now. If we let him go we would either have to replace him by paying a transfer fee or bringing in a free agent on a boosted wage.

For me it should revolve over how good the player is, not how much we pay them, and I think it's fair to say we need somebody better.

Maybe the reason he was dropped last week. I doubt he plays again now and we will release him. Simply put he’s scored some good goals for us but he’s a midfielder with no vision, can’t control, can’t pass, can’t tackle. He’s unfortunately not good enough but has been a good servant. I would say here’s another contract on 75k a week take it or leave it. Same with Dom. I’m happy we are starting to be a bit more brutal.
75k of what? 75 kilograms of curly wurlys?

As much as you won’t want it to happen, time will be kind to Doucoure and he will be remembered for scoring some big goals for us.
He has mate but like i said earlier, they became big goals because of 'his' (Not just his) performances throughout the season.

How many big chances or good positions on the pitch break down because of him?
It happens on a weekly basis, probably about 3-4 times a game.

His 'big goals' are probably about 5 in his Everton career
His wasted opportunities are at about 2,235

skittles, curly wurly's. Hungry? Friday cheat lunch?

How have we ended up here? maupay mouthing off online and now doucoure. Historically, who else has been less than complimentary about their time here?
Answer to your first question. Yes.

Answer to your second question. Half of the members of GOT.

Ye I do think it’s relative to how poor this Everton side have been though. Can’t escape that it’s the worst squad we’ve had in a long long time but he has come in clutch through some dark moments

Agents really know how to make players look delusional don't they! How many are advising their players to run down their contracts with promises of big contracts at the end?

Thinks he deserves a pay rise 😂

Our highest paid player on £130k already who half the time can’t control or pass a ball.

3 goals and 1 assist all season playing as a number 10. And he has to play that far forward because he isn’t trusted further back because he fouls and gives the ball away.

Just as a comparison. Cole Palmer is reportedly on £130k as well.

Thing is, that’s not agent chat. That’s direct from the guys mouth isn’t it? On a podcast? As in, himself.

Mental.
