He's absolutely entitled to ask for whatever salary he wants. No problem with that. Although I'm not sure why he's bringing up the fact that Salah, the best player in the world currently, got a pay raise lol

But I'm pretty sure those comments tell us he will be leaving this summer. And if so, then he's done pretty well here and we can thank him for his services. It's probably the right time for both him and the club to move on.

It's fine to have belief in your own ability and refuse to take a pay cut. It's another to talk about it publicly while you're still under contract. Really unprofessional behaviour and hopefully seals his fate. Good luck to anyone who'll pay him £100k a week. He'll get a bit of a shock when he starts talks with Fulham, Brentford or Sheffield United and they offer him £50k a week. I can't think of any club who would want him paying him that salary as it would break their wage structure. The Middle East beckons by the looks of it.

That’s it though, he’s making out as if we’re the ones that are out of order for not caving to his absurd demands. He thinks he has the power in this situation, comparing his situation to Salah and Van Dijk is a complete embarrassment on his part too. I pray the club stand their ground and send him packing, we need to purge the last remaining Moshiri mercenaries from the club.

I would be extremely shocked if the club offer him a pay rise. Isn't he on quite a high wage already ?
