Arteta in season after next?

Likes red togs. So no.

After years and years of Everton failing at the most basic stuff, it amazes me that failing to unequivocally succeed at the very highest level of club football is a reason (for some of us) to declare a man not right for Everton. It’s as if, now that we might not be intolerably awful, absolute perfection is the only acceptable scenario.

I’d take Mikel as manager in a heartbeat.

He's failed at Arsenal with nothing but time, patience and a massive chuck of money at his disposal. He wouldn't stand a chance here.
Has he failed?
They haven’t won’t the league, but they are second every year and competing.
Could argue he’d have won it with a bit of luck (injuries/VAR). Arsenal lol better and better year upon year with him. Just a matter of time.
If they were going backwards or wasting money on useless players there would be reason to be annoyed with him, but they are not.

Let’s just leave it to the Friedkins.

They are highly successful people, I’m sure they will be able to find us a decent and progressive manager.

If you want to do an Arteta experiment then it would probably be cheaper to just go to Man City and get their current number two. Same gamble, but at least that guy won't have already been proven to be a massive bottle merchant like Arteta has.

I hear that after Moyes moves upstairs it’s gonna be a guest manager every week. One week it might be Arteta, the next former Newsround presenter John Craven, the next Bungle from Rainbow.
Until they start getting people off here to manage this club we'll go nowhere. When its my turn I'm playing a 2-2-6 formation with Brainthwaite the main striker.

Yes he's failed. He's had five years and delivered nothing but almost moments. One single FA Cup that was won with the asterisk of being played behind closed doors doesn't change that. How much longer is he supposed to get before the "matter of time" becomes a reality. He's already had half a decade.

I think hes done a good job at arsenal overall. They weren't doing much before he was there and at least now they are challenging for the very top honours. Top 2 in prem last 3 years isn't it? Semi of champions league. I think injuries have hurt them this season
