If we can't have a change of players due to it hampering the youngsters development, we should at least be looking at a change in formation to the way Atalanta and Palace
set their sides up 3-4-2-1 so successfully.

Very sadly Seamus is limping around like Toulouse Lautrec. Outside of a specialist send off or captaining a side on for an exhibition, I'll be amazed to see him in footy boots again. When he does retire we might get the detail of just how injured he is and what he's tried to overcome what it is.
Forcing your system in...

Pickford
Garner J O'B Branthwaite
Patterson Gana Tim Iroegbunam McNeil
Alcaraz Ndiaye
Beto

Can see problems occurring with Robinson here though...

Coleman never really came back right after breaking his leg, getting on near 10 years ago, as much as I liked him and he was great for us you'd have to question why he's still at the club.

With wingbacks the idea is to double up on their main threat, rather than let him run riot on one of our "choice of three" right backs .

I put Coleman in the selection to help Patto
with his experience in terms of positioning ,
when to stay and when to go "all out at them" decision making stuff, that he would have a better idea of, alongside him on the pitch.

It's all about trying new systems with the whole squad in a proper game environment,so your selections would work too in testing our adaptability.

Not going to learn much from a new system with aging slow players, they'll make the new system look like it's not working.

Erm think the ref might spot us fielding an extra man?

Admire your chutzpah however ;)

edit: don’t mind me, I’ve just noticed that “tim” and “iroegbunam” are actually one and the same

I would like to see Nathan Patterson get another chance but have a feeling that Moysie may just completely bin him now.

Think Patto's chance is to make it as a regular starting wingback rather than a full back at this stage of his career.

We should try and find out something in our last three dead rubber games for viability for next season.

Last 2 dead rubber games. I refuse to call the last Goodison game a dead rubber game, they had damn well better turn up for this and not even think about leaving without anything other than a win.

It’s an interesting one, patto I mean. Play him and we lose, but he’s our player, we need squad depth, and therefore, he needs minutes to see if there is any hope of salvaging him as an Everton player.

If it was a must win game then young has to start as he is simply a far better RB that patto, as it’s not a must win I guess we have to give the lad another go (even though we have all seen enough I fear).
