He’s 1 goal away from equalling Dominic Calvert-Lewin’s best ever season in front of fans. It’s his first ever season in the top flight and he’s playing for a muck side. So yes.
If you put it like that, it sounds impressive. But discounting penalties, hes scored 3 more than Beto, when he has double the minutes played of Beto this season.

Ipswich are awful, but we're hardly an attacking force ourselves.

i think the hype is also down to the fact he's come through city's academy and was highly rated there. the world's richest club for many years who've plundered multi millions into their academy, both in coaching, facilities, and recruitment, and he's the best striker that's come out of it so far. he's then proved he can do well for a really weak side.

there's no guarantees in football but he's looking like a sure bet to be a star, and is likely next in line to start up front for England once Kane's over the hill

Also does help with the 30 mill in the deal is not to crazy amount of money you would like to think even if didnt work out would still be a decent resell value. Whatever goes on this window is not just looking for goals from the striker we need it all across the team. Wingers midfielders defenders ect all need to be getting more.

We're a very attractive option regardless of other fans opinions....

He's guaranteed to be given the opportunity to be our first choice number 9 from the start...

We can and will pay big wages for the right player....

Less pressure to be an instant success

We'll build a team around him...

If he does well and we don't then we wouldn't stand in his way of a big move

And that's before you factor in the chance to build a legacy at the new ground and be the catalyst for pushing us back where we belong...

I'm not convinced, he had a great season, but, so did Adebeyor in the prem for Luton. He looks a great prospect, but, can we afford to take a £30 million punt on a lad with one good season behind him. If we sign him I hope he works out, I just think the fee is a lot for a club in our financial position, for a player who is yet to show how he copes with the second season, when all the defenders are alive to his threat.
