New Everton Stadium - Hill Dickinson Stadium

Personally I’d rather them knock Goodison down completely and build something similar to Man City’s Academy Stadium. It would be great to retain elements of Goodison but it just doesn’t seem cost effective and would generally undermine the big send off we’re giving it tbh. The Southampton game should be the last ever game at Goodison Park as we know it, in my opinion.

There's no way 3 of those stands are being retained beyond a few years IMO.

Knock down the Main Stand… put a hotel there with rooms facing pitch. Sell EFC mens match packages with hotel stays there for corporate revenue annd also see it filled with kopites going to Anfield every other week.
Strip out the Upper Bullens/Gwladys concourses, reinforce the floors & use it as museum for the Everton David France collection - you keep the seating in as part of museum experience and to view the pitch.

Retain Park End, Lower Gwladys and Paddock as seating for Women’s/Reserve games. Lower Bullens could be a dining experience linked to Museum.

Changing rooms built in Park End corporate lounges.

Yeah, me too. Holds too many memories to be half there and half not.

... then sell it all to a sister company for 750m British Pounds.

Remember the club saying the roof drainage system hadn’t been turned on to explain the flooding 🤣🤣🤣
Never heard that bit of spin. Says a lot if there was a drainage system for the roof that in the wettest months of the year that it might be a good idea to have that drainage system in operation.

Park End and Main Stand are the only two that could stay open, with the latter likely needing work too. It does, however, have the hospitality already there.

That was the reason. There is a system within the roof that collects rainwater into tanks, which is then used to flush toilets, irrigation and whatnot.

The issue was, as I've stated before, other parts of the build needed completing before this was finished and activated as part of the sequence of installation.

Some of the posters in here probably believe the world is flat.

I agree. I think we have a great opportunity to have our cake and eat it as regards Goodison Park.

It can easily become a world class working heritage football stadium and museum. Where is more appropriate than the site of the world's first purpose built football stadium. Where is more appropriate than a stadium containing not one, but two classic Leitch double-decker stands?

The woman's team need a much larger stadium than WHP, and Goodison Park can be repurposed to host their matches. At the same time preserving its historic stands, which can house and display the whole Everton Collection and other immersive experiences and exhibits in the true home of football stadium history.

This would also maintain the club's presence in its historic heartland, preserve that face-off across the park..... and allow future blues and the ever-increasing numbers of visiting football tourists to experience Goodison Park and the last truly traditional British football stadium in the country. A win win as far as I'm concerned.
