And Alcaraz is a very capable starting player. He's not going to win us the Champions League, we need to buy players to help us get there over a period of time. I reckon you're being deliberately obtuse over this for some unknown reason, you know exactly what people are saying in regards to signing him.

Our loan signings have generally been poor, watched the Ipswich loanee on Saturday, Julio Encisco and thought he had talent. We’ve struggled with the likes of Harrison and Lindstrom and Brighton pick up a 21yo like that for £9m.

Hopefully our transfer business can be much more innovative going forward. Happy to see what happens.
