They’re asking for £40m apparently, which would be disastrous business for an injury prone 28 year old and would show that we have learnt nothing from the Moshiri era that nearly sent us under as a club. Stick a fork in this one lads.

Very few happy endings but loads more “told you so’s”.

We have the opportunity of a fresh start from new owners and we need to be demanding more of the ownership and playing staff in terms of competence,delivery and success on and off the pitch.

Part of that transition means losing the reputation for being a soft touch and sentimental about current and past players.

I like Richarlison but we should say no and invest for the future.
