2024/25 Beto

Odd thing to say, considering he played all but 6 games last season, most of them full 90+ terrorist football (2 were from the cheekbone injury) and was featuring up until recently and playing full 90s. The only big injuries were when he broke his toe(s?) and the current one.

A lot to criticise him for but I don't feel this one is right.

Anyway bizarre shout to sell Beto, who's doing quite well, and start the season with essentially no strikers. To hell with the plan for stability I guess
My comment on DCL's fitness was purely based on this season. Oh and the fact his goal scoring record other than one season is less than average.

Garner was wide open. All he had to do was make a 10 yard pass.

The CBs will split to play the ball out. If the striker can't make simple pass after three touches, he doesn't belong in the PL.

I'm just responding to you. He also had a first touch that went about 25 yards astray this past weekend.

This is comical.

You've just listed three other players there who could have done something but you're only interested in blaming the striker.

This is the only point I'm making about the ridiculousness of blaming our striker for us conceding because he didn't control a ball, again, at the halfway line with the rest of the team between him and our goal.

The striker who scored last week and had us winning the game when he went off btw.

Nearly scored a cracker against Chelsea with an excellent snapshot
