It means he's ill disciplined, selfish and not team focused.
Only ever really seen him play for England and generally never understood why he was in the side - can't find a team mate 8/10 times and often out of position. Maybe at a bigger club he'll come on and develop.

The outrage from them that he would even consider leaving is something to behold. A league title up against a strikerless Arsenal and a mid season meltdown from City and they really think they are the best of the best. Madrid and Barca are a different kind of pull they will just never match.

Nah it means he's trying to appear like some sort of footballing savant because his ego was just that high at the time. Exposed against everyone but bailed out by the fact he has some (sadly) great players around him to compensate. It's why their left backs are anonymous and produce nothing too - their job is to just sit back and wait.

For England he plays anything but RB, so he doesn't even know his position. Knows the game though, or whatever.
