I have never been entirely sure about the correct spelling of that so I Googled Shoe-in v Shoo-in. Turns out it's as I have always suspected to be the case: Shoo-in/Shooed-in, and not Shoe-in/Shoed-in. Of course it doesn't really matter as long as it's understood what is meant but, as I'm studying for my final Grammar Police* entry exam, I thought I might as well pass on a bit of revision.

*I wonder what the uniform's like, and if it includes a hat?
