2024/25 Iliman Ndiaye

Since the injury this guys form has dropped off a cliff.... Is the real NDaiye the fella we 1st saw or what we are seeing now which got him the boot from Marseille?

It`s not beyond the realms of possibility that he had a bounce from the move now he has reverted to type.

Because I think he can struggle to pick a pass at times, great that he dribbles a lot but something on the end of it would be great - feels kind of like what Moyes was saying in that there’s more to come from him. That said he definitely seems to be a far better threat already under Moyes, as I said not camped on the 18 yard line and being allowed to push higher up to start counters definitely suits him more.
I was right in January.

He’s an odd player. He can run with a ball well, but can’t cross which stops him being an out and winger. He can move the ball well at times, but isn’t consistent enough or creative enough to be a 10. Can score but isn’t an out and out CF. Maybe lacks a bit of explosive pace as well - can beat players with the ball at his feet but never seems to get away from them.

He feels like a square peg in a round hole. Yes there’s a really exciting player in there, but is there something that makes him a must pick at any position, aside from a lack of squad depth?

One of the few bright spots this season, people are never happy. Personally I'm willing to wait until he has a season with a better group of players and a season where Sean 'I dont train players' Dyche isn't manager.

He spent a majority of the season back tracking instead of attacking, nobody shines under Dyche tactics but Ndiaye at least gave us some bum off seat moments.
