2024/25 Nathan Patterson

….the lad just struggles to defend, always been obvious to me. From an attacking perspective, it says something that in two successive games when we’ve been chasing a goal, he’s been brought off for a 39 year old.

He was missing at the back post for the equaliser, only he knows if he needed to lie on the floor upfield for so long.
Gets rinsed for the 21s let alone in these games. That’s a relegated team as well, he’s just not kicked on whatsoever.

Been taken off twice in a row for Young, and that's not a tactical change or an attacking move, that's something you do simply because you need to get him off the pitch. Think he's done for.
He was hooked for getting a yellow for complaining after being pulled to the ground by his collar. It was one of the craziest fouls I’ve seen in a long time.

Hasn't worked out for him at Everton but he's still young enough to carve out a career elsewhere.

With the money he's leeched from our club over the last few years he could probably build a decent property portfolio and never have to work a day again in his life. He can just lie on the grass like he did when Ipswich equalised for the rest of his days.

17th place team in PL as a wing back. Upper Championship as a RB. And always injured. Our lean squad next year can’t cope with an ok player who misses 4 month chunks of seasons.

Gutted as I like the idea of him. Hoped he may see us through the post Coleman period until we could afford something really special; bit of snide, more attack minded than defensive. But no. Same random decisions and positional sense as when he first signed.

He will do ok somewhere.
