that’s players that if we didn’t go 2-1 at half time the game was won
No chance mate. None at all. Moyes' sides ALWAYS did this. I have never seen sides concede so many goals from distance as Moyes' sides - because they always retreat. I've moaned about that loads on here over the years - especially when Moyes was coming back. Drives me mad.

Also, Ipswich are so poor, really good managers would put a rocket up the players for letting them back in and send them out to attack and roll them over because they are so poor. Not dour Davey. Out cautiously. Can't be cavalier, don't want to concede another. Hand initiative to opposition. Concede that goal anyway. It is so Moyes.

He did it with us enough times before he left in 2013 - we are actually a totally different side, and we're doing it again. I've seen West Ham do it. It's so rare that Moyes' sides have properly put teams to the sword, even when he's had good sides.

It's him. It's part of his managerial DNA.

Three games left to avoid our third 'sub-40' season in four. Jeff Stelling said it plain and simple two years ago after FT vs Bournemouth.

"They have a perfect record for last day survival, but they cannot keep doing this, because one day their luck will run out."

Massive massive massive massive window. Have to get this 110% right. Every single position bar GK need replacing, either because loans are expiring, players aren't good enough / too old or too going-to-Man-Utd.

Even Pickford needs some proper competition too. Captain my arse.

Moyes isn’t the man to be given total charge of such a rebuild.

We may only get 1 point v Southampton!
That's what I mean. I expect us to get absolutely spanked by the horse punchers and turned over by Fulham as they both have something to play for. We may scrape a win vs Southampton, but I doubt it. I look forward to watching Calvert-Lewin and 'Doucs' celebrating their new deals by squandering good chances and attacks too for the last three games.
