This is a classic case of us overrating players because they can do the basics we have been so starved of for so long. If Moyes thinks we can do better then that's fine by me.
12m mate. I think many can see he is worth more than that. If he doesn't work out the minimum we get back is a few million profit.

Both he and managers haven’t quite worked out how to unlock his ability so can impact games for longer periods.
If we don’t sign him at the price available to use, we could VERY VERY easily spend an extra £25m on an identical player to him. No brainer, even if we end up selling him for £20m next year, but suspect he still has room to improve. Might not suit every match, but at some point we have to buy players that can play football.

£12m we can put towards something else if we choose to. I'm on the fence about it all. I remember watching Arteta for half a year and knowing he was a player we needed. Do we just want Alcarez because we've been so bad for so long?

This is kind of where I am with it. He’s better than what we’ve had but I’d be aspiring for a lot better.
and a whole lot more money. The lad is young potential and cheap at the price. He makes things happen, gives good decisive passes, good crosses, carries the ball well. He is let down by lesser players around him.

Hyperbole about his performances when he puts a decent ball in is mental.
I thought our attacking players lacked threat for the majority of it.
