The PL and PGMOL have to tie City down to stop the inevitable happening - a City title win.

Hopefully Arsenal win the CL and get some confidence next season to maintain a title challenge and City get their act together again...but if the games authorities and officials want a certain outcome they can do so.

The funniest thing is that they clearly think so little of Liverpool as a sporting outfit that even a month ago they were still bailing them out of losing positions virtually every game with dodgy penalties. Even with their 15 point lead.

liverpool may have gone 26 games unbeaten this season but would you be shocked if i told you that their longest win streak in the league at any given point was only 4 games.

they have never won 5 in a row in the league so far this season
