I found it quite odd that the referee gave an instant free kick today when Mykolenko and keeper clashed. Didn’t have control of ball in hands, yet blew immediately!

Any half decent striker gets us into the top half I reckon. Beto, broja and DCL will be gone. Interesting to see how we fill those gaps

He was terrible from the off.

I look for positioning because closing down space is probably as big an issue for a defender as actually doing stuff on the ball - cutting out passing lines etc.

Patterson is as a bad as I've ever seen in that respect.

He doesn't have the intelligence to play top flight football down here.

He's also physically unsuited. Especially for fullback. Unbelievably slow.

This shower (with a few exceptions) are fortunate to have such a great following home and away

Mate how good do you think our team are? There is a reason we have been fighting relegation over the years. Chelsea were better than us ( first half) and just about deserved it. Do you think we should be beating Chelsea because you think we are better than them? We are giving top teams a tough game but we lack quality up front to be able to punish these top teams hence the position we are in

Patterson never cost us the game the keeper & the CF did !
Blame the keeper for his valley out to Beto who was marked up - made some good saves but horrendous at controlling his box !

Joey you cannot call out Pickford for that goal. All on Beto, it was a great pass to him but he was unable to keep control and was mugged. Jackson was allowed the space due to us having comfortable possession. Beto is 100% to blame for that goal. No blame on Pickford
