Said ball from Pickford was fine and the CBs had split to receive a short ball but “he” had to retain it, had to.

….same space Beto had to look after the ball. Everything played up up to him came back to that point, it wasn’t a one-off. His team needed an out ball, it’s basic CF play, Beto let us all down there are no excuses.

I dunno where Beto fits into a Moyes team tbh. Hes been lucky a few times already with losing possession in our half before this. Can get away with it if he’s scoring or creating but he hasn’t been.

Moyes would have to change the way he sets a team up to accommodate him. Which is definitely not happening. He’d rather an 8 goal a season striker who can keep possession.

A different manager/team could maybe get more out of him.

Could well be,sad for Beto as he's not a target man,if he was part of a front two playing off a target man I think he'd have done well for us.But that's never likely to happen with Moyse.

I was surprised by that,not something he normally does. Pickford must take some of the blame,the defender was tight on Beto and knowing that he's not good with his back to goal giving it to him inside the centre circle in our half wasn't the best choice. Both centre backs had switched off as well. Jackson had all the time in the world.

He really wasn’t that tight and Beto took 2-3 touches. All he had to do is make a simple 15 yard pass to Garner and we’re out of our end. Beto sucks.

The CBs are supposed to be wide. That’s the tactic.

I would add that whilst I don’t think we’d have been relegated, Beto’s goals gave us some breathing space and were one of the few highlights of another minging season.

I agree, I just think broja has shown nothing and is a massive crock. If I was keeping one it would be beto. We must sign a new striker that's for sure.

Yeah I can go with that. Beto may be a decent bench option tho. Probably not but I have hope

Think we need 2 personally. Broja is fairly tidy in possession just completely ineffective at posing any sort of goal threat.
