To hell with it, I'm going to post what I did in the match thread in here too:
Moyes back to doing the things that frustrated me so much in his first spell. Favouring utter crap which breeds negativity. I think Doucoure is going to end up playing every minute he is here under Moyes, which I have a sickening feeling will not end at the end of this season.
We couldn't get on the ball and create, so he takes off one of our only two players who can (because he couldn't get into the game) to replace him with the only other one. Done, just so we can keep Doucoure in place. A really top manager would have got them both on the pitch. He keeps playing Alcaraz out of position to accommodate Doucoure, and yet still isn't sure of him apparently, even though he still ends up being our best player when out of position.
Keeps bringing McNeil on the right, yet doesn't like his players shooting from distance - which is the only thing McNeil can do when played on that side. We only started playing a couple of balls down the side once he took Beto off.
He's done well overall since he's come back, but let's be fair, the last few games have been an utter shambles, just to accommodate Doucoure. Last game he was on about bringing Keane on because he doesn’t want to mess up too many positions, but is happy to do it and put everyone else out of position to accommodate the world's worst CAM.
I'm looking forward to DCL coming back so Moyes can select the only attacking line up in world football who are in the side on the strength of defensive contributions and not attacking prowess - DCL, Doucoure, Harrison and McNeil. And that will happen despite the fact DCL is leaving.
Absolutely fuming at the state of that. I'm back to not enjoying watching us play again. What I wouldn't give to be treated to an extended display of good attacking football for once
