Season Ticket Waitlist

Would have pissed 50k season tickets. Such a shame we didn't get to 60-65k seats as stunning as the place is.
I get the argument you get less bang for your buck as costs increase a lot form few extras east (actually I don’t but a fair few on here were of that opinion!), but 61,878 was the magic no for me

I'm glad it's around 53k. We'll see in a couple of seasons on a cold Tuesday league cup night against a lower league club if it should have been more. I think tickets will be pretty easy to get hold of next season anyway apart from the derby and 1st game.
Agreed. I also think there’s a lot of over inflation of the waiting list numbers…. Duplicates, kids and people who actually would purchase - I’d be surprised if it was anywhere near the apparent 30k TBH

Yeah I caught one of his videos yesterday, I thought to myself he's massively giving a lot of people false hope here. He even went as far as to say he thought it would "definitely drop down to people with 4 OMs, and probably even 3". He was chatting complete wham in that context all honesty.
I hope he gets banned from Bramley the little wool

You don't have to design your stadium for a midweek league cup game that may happen twice a season. But anyway

You also don't design it for the numbers who may just want to turn up for the first season while it's shiny and new and novel though. I do think people massively underestimate how big a thing it would be for us to find a 50%+ increase in attendances. It's obviously impossible to know but I think the advertising and messaging out of the club in the week or so before the ST deadline suggested the take up from those on the waiting list hadn't been as big as they'd expected it to be.

I agree just hope they will try and invite more kids to come by offering cheaper tickets, especially with the competition we face and i think with higher attendance they could have done that, but maybe that's the idealist in me

No more ST’s to be sold

I’ll be honest, I’m proper annoyed.
4000 tickets apparently sold. Last time they published the banding I was well inside that, and been on the waiting list since Jan 2019… but people could just jump to the top of the list even if joining the list for the first time, if they happened to have an extra year of membership.

Very much doubt I’m alone in this circumstance, but doesn’t half leave a bad taste.

I agree and am in the same boat.

I’m more worried that whilst it’s good news there will be loads more tickets for members, they’re not going to members given the whole bots / touts scenario going on at the moment

There seemed to be a lot of seats available in the family stand when I looked on Monday, be interesting to see if they sell out on a match by match basis.

not if the bots dont come off the ticketmaster site, could be on there for a good while especially with huge demand for the first few games

i was on 3 years membership 4 years waiting list so i wasnt too hopeful

selfishly, part of me is relieved as it will mean there's more tickets available to buy

im wondering what the score is with available tickets. from the videos being shown it only lookign like north and family section were available to buy for ST

Does that mean they are the only stands you can buy a ticket for apart from resale?

Or has the club held back tickets in the west, east and south for one off games?

Would be good to have some clarity on that

No more ST’s to be sold

It will be interesting how many commercial sponsors like Ticketmaster and alike will be handed to officially tout our own fanbase

I see Man City are stopping anyone getting a new Season Tickets now because they want to sell their own fans tickets at above the cost X

Game is fooked, I am off the Baller League
