I was there most weeks at the time and when the days attendance was announced there were lots of people there doubting the honesty of it !!

It started after the 'new' mainstand was built, it was all cash back then and 43k at 3pm became 34k by 4.50pm.

You know I'm almost sure I paid on the gate for the Bayern game ? I was 19 back then and had been going on the Street End for at least 10 years ....never was it so packed before !!

Most excited about the west side with the mezzanine. Thats whats gonna be a wow factor different from other stadiums.
Hoping theres gonna be a bit more blue lighting illuminating the stadium.

I'm afraid we can only afford shorter wavelength lightbulbs now, so it's likely to be bathed in a crimson light, unfortunately.

How are the drinking options shaping up down there?

Obviously there's the Bramley Moore already, I saw that the Blue House are opening up down there and there was something I read somewhere about somewhere called the "Terrace Bar" opening up down there with a rooftop bar with a view of the ground, but that's about all I know of so far. I know the club will want you drinking in the ground/fan plaza, which is all well and good but if you're not a fan of the 4% lagers they sign catering contracts for, you're a bit stuck.

Ten Street social and Invisible Wind Factory are both already established down there, a 5 min walk from the stadium. Both big warehouse type spaces that could accommodate plenty on a match day.
