I think people overexaggerate how poor our form has been in derbies relating to performances rather than results. Other than when we lost to them in FA Cup at Wembley, plus 2020 and our 3-0 defeat at Anfield in 2012 our results have been semi predictable. Martinez decided to play insane tactics at Anfield we got thrashed. Agent Benitez isn't worth talking about. If we go into game thinking how great Liverpool are we will lose. Far too often we go into these games beaten before we walk out of tunnel.

Mentioned in another thread... it was only a few weeks ago we were looking at this derby as having the potential to hand them the title and relegate us if they won.

I'm now looking at it as an opportunity for us to almost guarantee our survival and fully derailing their title challenge.

How times change.

That's a shout actually. I remember when this hadn't been arranged and there was talk of it being arranged at the end of the season as a title decider/relegation clincher as they had no other availability due to them winning every trophy on earth

3 and a half hours till fight or submit

we know they’re attack is to good we can’t go toe to toe they will just pick us of

how do play against these? we’re defending virtually all game. i can’t see doucoure working against these neither

to get a sniff we have to have all our players on and give it all.

everton i beg you to fight against these

NO SURRENDER
