6 + 2 Point Deductions

From the BBC:

How on earth is that an appropriate response to another points deduction?

That's just someone keeping lines open to the MSM to be used as their 'sane voice of the fans'.

He did us no favours there yesterday.

That Peter McFarlane is awful. He had an awful response to the appeal result and all, said the fans felt 'vindicated' after it. Stop putting this man in front of a mic as a spokesman. He speaks for no one but his clueless self.

Let's be quite honest here, Sky are running the premier league, and Masters is under their instructions.

As soon as the 6 threatened to leave they shat themselves.

VAR and PSR are their way of ensuring the other 14 stay in their lane.

Sky will be paying the premier league 10% (£1.6billion) of their yearly revenue. When you consider they have over 300 channels and only a small % of those being "premier league" related that is a huge outlay. That is because sky's flagship product is the premier league and exists to to keep most of their subscribers paying over £100 a month for their services.

It's difficult to quantify how much of sky's revenue would fall without the premier league but it would not surprise me if it is upto 5 billion a year.

Sky love the controversy of VAR. They even have their own "REF watch" programme because every week they have loads of content to discuss.

Not to mention there biased pundits and in lots of cases no pundits who have links to 1 of the teams who are playing.

The only way these cretins at the premier league will take notice is if people cancel their sky sports and or other subscriptions.

Forget your protests, forget your "corrupt" cards. Sky need to be hit in the pocket. Less income and less advertising income.

That will impact the "premier league brand"

The League have put so many controls in place to influence results now, from VAR, to the added minutes inconsistencies, linesmen raising and not raising flags depending on who is attacking, FPS and now sporting penalty points. They can write their own story. The whole thing is a farce. Its disgraceful all fans have accepted the shafting year on year, the soul of the game is being eroded worse every year.
When every 18 year old player is driving a Bentley and genocidal regimes own clubs does anyone really believe that a linesman is living in a semi detached house worrying about his gas bills?

I don't really think it's a vendetta against Everton, more that we are a suitable target. The right sized club who have messed up enough to justify getting hammered, the fact that the prem have handled it appallingly probably is more down to incompetence that being personal

You like to think it isnt and i try to stay away from that. But its hard to argue against it. Pl asking for 12 points for Everton and 8 for forest even though forest breached by more is it seems based on discretion. The fact absolutely nobody from the pl is put to task on this is ridiculous. Masters sitting at the parliamentary committee is all we've had. and that was before forests deduction so no direct question could be put. If no answer is put out you can only presume they are targeting Everton more. Thats sailing very close to being personal.

Didn't they only ask for 6 from Forest?

And they've asked for 17 from us (for a total breach comparable to Forest's)
