Everton future - short term, mid, long term

It's talked a lot in the other threads, whether Dyche's, relegation or PSR the mention a few. Didn't find a thread to talk about it entirely, so I decided to start a one of what you expect of Everton, short term, mid term and long term. What is your expectation, what do you want the club to become, what points in the huge bucket list are your most important things to approach, what is realistic within the 3 periods. We are in a situation probably no one would have thought 10yrs or even 5yrs ago, when finishing top 11 constantly since 04/05. A horrible period for us to stick together and get through on and off the pitch.

The current state of the club is a result of having incapable people in the board and spending beyond our means mostly to sum it up. Points deduction, dire financial situation, unclear ownership, decent first eleven, but thin squad in depth of players and quality with only 17 players having a contract for next season (8 of them expiring in 2025) are a few issues to name, many could be added.

Let's define short term till BMD in 2025. Then mid term till 2028-2030 and 2030+ long term.

This what our future holds.

Without a nice 3rd party entering the fray our short medium and long term future is bleak if we stay as we are or 777 come in
If 777 are the owners then it could be a case out of the frying pan and straight into the fire. What a sad and bleak state of affairs!

The only thing we as Everton fans are excited about at the moment is a building site. That building site is one magnificent stadium coming to life to be fair. It’s just a shame we can’t get excited about the actual football with all that’s going on in the background. I just hope we survive till the new stadium and move in with hope of a brighter future and a team that we can’t be proud to support.

Just stay up, sell and try develop players and hopefully club table. Is key we start getting better in the academy and keep to a model now

Short term : stay up
Medium term: get into the stadium, stay in the division, put this FFP crap to bed, stabilise the club and begin to progress
Long term : to win a bloody trophy

Hopefully this 777 crowd are looking to buy the club, sort it out somewhat, get into the stadium and sell the club for a quick profit

Short term: Relegation!
Medium Term: Administration!
Long Term: Liquidation!

Followed by a short-lived West End stage play about the farcical collapse of a once-great sporting institution based roughly on Everton's demise. Featuring a Producers-style musical number by the two 'owners' who are loosely based on Kenwright and Moshiri, singing 🎶 'Relegation! Administration! Liquidation!'🎶

Short term: Survive and improve financial position.
Mid term: Develop a way of playing that gives us a chance in every game. Consistent 45 points in the league. Change focus towards the cup games, if we play a league and cup game in the same week, the first team plays the cup game and we rotate for the league game. Benefits of this will be that the club will develop an identity as a cup team. If we ever win a cup, we will get european football that we all crave. Our identity as a cup team should get us on tv more and allow the club to charge more for cup tickets, so it'll be good for the club too.
Long term: Consistently good cup runs and hopefully silverware. Still aiming for 45 points in the league just so the home crowd can chill out.

Realistically I don't ever see us winning the league without some major changes to the sport itself, so let's try and win the cups. Anyone can win a one off game (in theory).
