….just reading this now, devastating news. I’m genuinely shocked.

I built up a friendship with Mark over the years. He advised me on my pension options when I retired and I’d often send him and Nikki Everton gear I get from FF. Even though he lives in Bristol, he’d tell me about his connection to the Wirral and how ‘Roydon Park’ is named after his family. He told stories of his parcel delivery round and celebrities like Eddie Large he got to know and share footy stories with.

So, so sad but he’s at least reunited with his beloved Nikki. Sincere condolences to Mark’s family & friends. Roydo will always be one of ours, i’ll miss him.

Rotten, rotten news. A lovely fella on the forum. His honesty at his feelings during and after Nikki's illness and passing were an inspiration. Would occasionally chat about things West Country as we were both incomers in a strange land. Very sad. RIP Roydo.
