2023/24 Vitalii Mykolenko

Talk about him being solid defensively all you want but him and whoever is playing right back are crippling an already insipid attack.

How can you be a pro footballer and your first instinct is to play it backwards as soon as you get it?

You don't even coach 5 yesr old kids to do that because you tell them to open up their bodies to receive the pass, look up and start building forward momentum.

People saying it's down to Dyche are just deluded. It's obvious he has absolutely zero ability on the ball.

He just won't put the ball in front of himself either, no matter where he receives it. Fk it, I'm getting wasted

A young lad that has justified the big price tag. Has come here in the most awful of circumstances and steadily improved. His instinctive attitude to defend and get the right side of an attacker is immense.

He was about £18 million and is way below average for a Premier league full back. Don’t think he’s got a single assist in his entire time here under 3 managers.

So sad that he offers absolutely nothing to our attacks. Even in an advanced area, when he gets the ball his first touch is ideally mostly backwards. Average defensive left back, appalling attacking one. About our standard though tbf.

He's absolutely desperate to avoid the ball in the final third. You can see it in his half hearted runs. Terrified it might come his way.

Great times for the opposing right back when you know that's what you're up against.
