Maybe if we could get another cb in jan, is up to him to show he is good enough. But imo he will end up leaving at the end of the season like holgate, keane will stay just being a squad player still

Yes, his confidence seems shot to pieces.

I'd say now he's a squad player and would start only when the current back 4 plus Seamus are injured.

There are areas of the team we are quite short in - out wide and centre mind in particular, but if we get an injury to Branthwaite or Tarkowski then I do fear for us.

Any time that Keane or Godfrey spend in the team will fill me with dread

He was a lockdown man on man defender in year one. He has fallen off on a ridiculous level.

Yep. His fall from grace and optimism of his early performances have been staggering. Injuries are cruel.

Add in the league's worst right back in Patto and a very average left back and its clear we've relied on a top class goalie way too much

….sadly looks ‘spent’ at the game. No idea why, I’ve heard some suggest he has Long COVID but he certainly looks lost.

I can see why he’s not getting game time.
