Most of our academy players want to jump ship themselves. Don't know why this lad wouldn't feel the same
Surely 23 is past the academy level and he would be purchased for the first team. I can understand an academy player wanting to leave if 1st team opportunities are not there. Look at City and the players they lost over the last few years that have gone on to be worth huge money, it is very difficult to keep academy players if they are not offered 1st team football

In fairness an academy player and a near 23 year old is a massive difference. If this lad isn't confident enough to move to the PL at that age then he'll likely never be up to the level.
We have to keep in mind our alleged interest and his alleged preference for Bologna is nothing more than social media rumour.

It's a polite way of saying he doesn't want to play for a club that has battled relegation for the past two seasons and has the fans throwing tantrums like teenage girls.
It's taken us nearly a week to convince some 19 year old to come and earn 10 times his current wage.

Utter basket case of a club.
Incredible how wrong this is

I can't even.

ffs you can’t “shift” unless you ripped up there contracts of each one and it would cost a fortune
There will be takers for Holgate, Keane, Godfrey Iwobi and Maupay if you're creative enough. Use them as leverage in deals where we're interested in a player from the buying club, offer to put up x% for the player's wage, get the players ostracised from the rest of the squad and training with the under 12s and tell them they need to leave if they want to continue their career.

Seems young Kev is simply waiting for a mysterious club to come knocking at our door waving £15m at us for our poo players.
