The Everton Board Thread

Any action that we could face is frankly less than what we deserve as a football club according to the actual laws of the game if we're being very honest. The blame can only be set at the feet of Kenwright and Moshiri, we don't deserve this as fans but we'll have to deal with it, however as owners and board members they deserve every last sanction that they're gonna get, they should be made a public embarassment and a lesson in the history of football as to how exactly to be a failure and how to not run a football club.
So many seem incandescent that the PL could make an example of us.

For me it's the owner and the Everton Board that they may wish to make an example of, as to how a premier league club should not be run. The owner and board would love the fans to believe that we all, as a united club, are being clamped down on by the premier league, thereby pinning the blame for the club's woes on the PL and deflecting the blame from and lessening the pressure on the owner and board.

We shouldn't buy into that for a minute. This is all on them. If the club have to take a financial hit then so be it. As long as it's not a points deduction (which is unlikely), as that would hit the fanbase harder than the people who are responsible for this mess. They have brought shame and embarrassment upon the club, and they should be held accountable for it.

It's funny, I remember some clip from January on Talksport. Someone fairly well known, cant remember who now, was saying that Everton were irritating other clubs by putting bids in for players when everyone knew they hadn't the funds to make the deals.
It kinda seemed like idle chatter at the time but it must have been true.
Sounds like the club are in a dire mess off the field.
Not surprising that numerous suitors have swerved the club after any preliminary research.

Transfer ban is a bad outcome, pretty much a forced relegation anyway.

so to summarize,
we have a board who wont attend games based on spurious claims of fan violence.
the last transfer window was possibly the worst in the clubs history.
the board are refusing to hold an AGM
the club has been charged with financial mismanagement.
No board member has spoken publicly on any of this.
This all happened in 2023 and we're only 3 months in.
The mind boggles.
Yeah, but apart from that mate…

It's us that will be punished though. As in the club we support and ultimately as fans of the club . Meanwhile the scum running the club will walk away unpunished.

Fair point that it will always be the fans ultimately that are punished as they ARE the club at the end of the day.

It's just that there is an ever-growing chasm at Everton between the fans and the owner/board, so for many of us it's THEM really.
