So many times fans have said ‘why can’t we buy so and so before they get the big move and develop here’ we then sign players that have huge potential at a young age for low fees and people still moan that they aren’t good enough. This boy is...

In other words we played a centre half at full back when we had a really good full back we'd paid a lot of money for. I really thought Baines would leave because Moyes wouldn't play him, what a disaster that would have been. Luckily he's not that...

In your alternate reality do we still get to keep KDH or has KDB fully replaced him?

We paid £6 million for him, and anyone who saw him at Wigan could tell he was a good player, I was mystified when Moyes didn't play him!

Brighton is Brighton. Brighton's strategy can never be Evertons, Everton's strategy should realistically be (now BK has gone) about how to get back to winning stuff. That is not Brighton. Everton should see itself arriving at the point, and...

Pretty much. Hard to fit the pieces together when the only defensive minded player weve signed is Aznou. There will have to be another clearing of the decks with squad players having another year of their book value off and sales going towards...

The way into Europe is for players like Dibling and KDH and Rohl to take off and become star players. Some of them may stay, which is great. Others won’t and when they leave, you take the profit and find the next Dibling and KDH and Rohl. The...

The second part is mostly a fantasy. Which stars moved this summer? Eze? Gyokeres? Isak? Cunha? We don’t have a prayer of signing any. And it’s not even just about Europe. Sure getting in the CL would be great and that would give us more of a...

As far as I remember earlier in the summer I'm sure I read that Moyes was reviewing the list of targets that Thelwell had left.

In fairness we’ve had good buys from inside and outside the PL Lukaku Richarlison Pickford Gueye Tarkwoski Gareth Barry McCarthy all had PL experience and turned out to be very good players for us. Can even go further back to Baines Jagielka...

We just need to get rid of the premier league experience mindset, that’s all.

Did the Friedkin's buy an analytics company too or did I just dream it?

Fully expect to see more trading activity next summer, with sales funding further squad building. They have 12 months to work toward this and it will be interesting to see what they do. Judgement starts next window for me

No point going after individuals from Brighton, their owner Tony Bloom basically runs an analytics company and will have a team dedicated to finding players.
