Fair enough, I personally think he will be sold next summer (vault me). I am far more concerned in order: RB, RW, Striker, DM, AM, LB before I get to a 4th choice CB. Any move that frees up funds for the higher priority holes, provided it is not shockingly non-sensical I am ok with. I hope...

I agree he has been average and he has had howlers, At least by my memory, especially when he comes in cold. I generally feel better when he has a week to prepare for a start. When he comes in for an injury or to shore up the defense late is when I seem to think he struggles. One could argue...

But that goes against the narrative.... Every CB makes a mistake, Tarky and Branthwaite both had them last year - Keane has a shade more. The only game he was truly shocking was the late entry v City. He's fourth choice, lower wages, no capital outlay...
