True, I'm sure he could play there if needed. From the clips I've seen of him looks like he can shoot too. If he takes to the Premier League I reckon he could be great.

Think he will be a great signing. Great technique and skill. May take him a while to get used to the Premier League but he has the ability. His versatility will be a major positive for the squad.

Saw someone on YouTube say he can and has played LB, LW, CM and RB at youth level and looked great in all of them.

O’Brien plays well at right back, especially if played as an inverted RB as he’s good at passing. Adds an extra threat from set pieces too.

I agree but think we have to be careful to get the balance right. It's very hard in the market we're in to get the right players who can improve attacking output without hurting the defence.

Our defense is good imo. Good enough for Europe if we improve in attacking areas. Right wing and a strong attacking midfield\ box to box player will improve us far more than replacing O’Brien or Myko where we are more likely to become worse defensively, imo.

We could pick out bad games for any player.

Absolute rubbish. He’s very good at defending and has had Salah in his pocket before.

And for half the season we attacked more and still had one of the best defences. O’Brien is a great defender and Myko is great defensively against anyone. Our defence can get us in Europe if we can score enough goals and we don’t pick up too many injuries, imo.

Don’t understand why so many want to dismantle half of a defence that was champs league level. You’ll be the first people complaining when we start leaking goals after bringing in more attacking fullbacks who aren’t at the level needed to defend to the same standard. If we get a great right...
