    …..remember that night, Rankin quite small but a terrific shot stopper. Think Joe Royle missed his pen and Sandy Brown blasted the winner but could have that wrong.

    Top photo - Vogts and Netzer, two great players. I remember Netzer running England ragged at Wembley a year or so later. Bottom photo is their goalie, Wolfgang Kleff - he had a great game that night.

    It was our championship year 1969/70 - I went to every home game & many away games with my older brother - what a side - Leeds at home they were unbeaten arrived at the ground 90 minutes early as fans got locked outside that day - we were 3-0 up...

    What a tremendous photo. The way this photo was taken makes the GS seem much more bigger than it ever was (yes I know it wasn't small). Must have been some attendance that day, it looks packed.
