Can’t say either way on the capacity as don’t know enough but perhaps there was a trade off on the location vs size. If you build a 70k seater stadium out in the sticks then it makes extra money on match day because of the capacity but is empty... -

Dale street became a blue street on Sunday. Every pub was heaving with Evertonians, from The Ship to the Denbigh and all in-between. If that becomes the Norm, then happy days.

Said my goodbyes to the Barlow's Arms ( Dark House) on Sunday for probably the last time. Think we have spent the last 18yrs there a really good pub. But are corporate seats await, so we will be in the ground at 12 to get are ale😄
