If we win all our remaining games, we win the league (unless Leeds also win their other remaining games and finish above us on goal difference, but I don't see them doing that) Could be worse

It's a forum, and people are entitled to share that they are not happy with the current transfer situation (or lack therof) and I don't think I have read anyone say that they are happy with the current progress. But some people are going way...

Moyes has asked them to make up a story so he can scare the board into making an improved bid asap. Genius from our esteemed manager.
  • W
Exactly, I'd rather that than have it bleed onto the transfer thread which is already far too long and usually off topic at the moment. It's descended into people moaning etc etc instead of actually discussing transfer rumours, mostly.

Re-opening it is actually a good idea, save us being bombarded with dozens of different threads all about the same thing. Sort of a one stop shop for anyone that needs a bit more negativity in their life

We are in the premier league though. (And just to save you the bother - your next response is where you catastrophise something that hasn't happened?)

We've got a shiny new stadium on the banks of the Mersey

And in that rather weird scenario, did you ignore those women or make an unsuccessful attempt to gain their attention? Perhaps you need to use one of those online dictionaries to help you understand what the word ignore actually means?

WA Toffee replied to the thread Excuses, why?.
How is it semantics? He claimed we have ignored those positions, which is complete nonsense. We have made several bids for players in those positions, which is sort of the opposite of ignoring it. In fact, the highest profile bid we have made...

No mate, I was saying you were talking nonsense by claiming those positions were being ignored, and then provided some examples which refuted your claim. Can you not read?

They haven’t been ignored though have they? We have made three bids for Dibling and been very interested in the lad from Leicester. RW and RB is a priority but if a signing say a GK or LB pop up as a good price then it makes sense to grab them...
