You would imagine Future plans (etc.) would have been discussed in the first 2 meetings and would have been part of the interview process. The only things that would need to be sorted after compensation would be a contract and you wouldn't reach that stage unless you had your man.

Completely agree. Put Martinez at Porto and he'd at least match what Pereira has done, just look at Pereira's European record, average at best. People just love an 'Exotic' name

The players and the manager are part of the club whilst they are contracted here. If you aren't keen on a manager or a player that's fine, but you want them to do well whilst they are at Everton.
