Same issue for a club in Ireland. Drogheda won the FAI cup,to qualify for conference league. First time in Europe for a long time. Their owners (also own Walsall) bought Silkeborg who also got the conference league but they finished 7th vs Drogs...

RIP Brian Wilson. A true musical genius. Have listened to Pet Sounds more times than is probably healthy, and was lucky enough to see him perform the album in full, with his fantastic band, in the Philharmonic in town a good few years back.

Brian Wilson from the Beach Boys passed away, apparently. Confirmed by his family on his Facebook page 15 minutes ago. Gutted, absolutely love the Beach Boys. Grew up listening to them.

Went to see him at the Isle of Wight in 1970, as I remember, I saw Miles Davis, ELP, Doors, Who but then tried to chat up a French girl with my GCE E pass French, failed miserably fell asleep and missed him all together.
