Jason Philogene was excellent in the Championship for Hull and I was excited by the prospect of talks with Villa over a transfer to us. Another bullet dodged.
They'll have to get bums on seats somehow otherwise the granting of a license for in excess of 50K attendance will be in jeopardy. They stated as much on my confirmation.
I wouldn't know for sure, but as it seems the club is paranoid on knowing where the tickets end up, and more to the point how much money changed hands, I would imagine the answer is no.
I'd hope they'd leave this as it is, a 1500 on Saturday. Please no 1230 jobby as that'll mean less time to sort out the inevitable chaos outside as people find their way around. A 1730 and everyone walking up to the ground from the city will be hammered after an afternoon hopefully in the sun...
That's my understanding. I've got mine last week but I'm not longer able to go and I'm of the belief that to maximise revenue all transferring of tickets has to be done through the club.
The person I'm transferring to has a club membership so I'll get the App and see if I can do it through that...
Living in Hull I go to a good number of games. How we dismissed Robertson I'll never know. Enquiries were made and that was it. A ready made replacement for Baines all for £8m. Maguire the same, he was City's stand out player.
A timely reminder that although many regard footballers a some sort of super heroes they are after all humans like the rest of us.
So sad in many ways.
RIP.
I'm convinced that a majority of players who we approach turn us down on account of being intimidated by our RS neighbours. Lily livered every last one of them.
