We travel every inch of the M62 from Hull normally parking in the schoolyard where Queens Drive ends at County Road. Thinking we'll come down on the East Lancs and get parked by Walton Hall Park.

I don't know where you are coming from but you could park for free at Aintree station and get a train to Walton or Kirkdale. .

On a normal match day , the streets Immediately around the ground are closed 2 hrs prior to kick off . I would imagine they would be closed off 3 hrs prior to kick off on Sunday as the team coach ETA is 10am .

I'm trying but failing to ascertain what time road closures are being put in place. Setting off at 0600 in order to arrive at 0800 to try and get parked before any restrictions come in. Normally Queens Drive/ Walton Village area. Does anyone know?
