Yes, Goodison Park isn't a very acoustically efficient stadium, but what it did have was everyone right on top of the action in a very tight envelope, making it a very responsive bearpit when circumstances demanded/dictated it.... (of course in the days of terracing and the old Goodison Rd...

This really does need addressing before the new stadium novelty wears off and the harsher weather arrives, as it will deter some people going forward. The buses should be loaded quickly, with fares collected in the queues and the temporary bus lane should continue right up to the Junction with...

That junction needs to be either completely remodelled or temporary lights put in to give buses priority on matchday. Makes the shuttles completely ineffective post match. There also shouldn't be any cars apart from disabled parking anywhere off Grt Howard Street.

Whether for the stand, the car park or both, the club still demolished them all for the expansion of our facilities and their accessibility. I think it was over 35 houses in total at that end, and over 20 at the Gwladys St end. I'm not sure if we also knocked down some properties on the western...

Yes, but we knocked a few houses down on Goodison Ave to build it, and we had already knocked down all the houses on Walton Lane too to expand the car park. The houses on Goodison Rd itself were the last to go. Altogether, quite a few houses.

Then did the same at the Park end in the 80s/90s. As have several other clubs when expanding their grounds. The issue was perhaps the long term blight that was left in the process (often more a case of planning issues), which was similar to the Gwladys St redevelopment.... so it is a bit of...

Yes, I'm hoping it's the case, that eventually it will settle down as people are less inclined to explore. There's also enough wall space to add a lot more urinals in all of the toilets I've tried.

I'm in the SW corner (Upper). I've tried twice now at HT and it has been too congested to walk along the length of the South stand concourse to the SE corner quick enough for it to be worthwhile, and there were long queues at every male toilet on the way. The ones nearest block 205 only had a 5...

As far as I know, the Seat unique tickets are all in home sections. There won't be any segregation for them, so if there is a large take-up by wealthy visiting team's fans, then there is potential for problems in home sections and their concourses. Thousands more Liverpool fans are more than...

They're declaring sell outs to push the matchday corporate and corporate lite sales. They're testing that market, seeing how far that they can push it. I think they're playing with fire with Seat Unique packages. We don't have the vast out of town or International support of our neighbours...

Yes, this estate is the antithesis of good town-planning. Of course it comes from a different era, one of desperation.... but only proves the point that cheap, low density, low quality residential adds little to nothing and often only detracts from the potential of that area by stiffling...

Again, I think the main limiting factor is that we haven't really built a multi-purpose arena. There is no closing roof or moving pitch. Yes, the plaza could be an asset for various mid-range events, but noise polution would still be a factor as there is already increased residential locally...

I think the site's constraints and the logistics might be the most limiting factors. Anyone moving into the area now, does so with the full knowledge of the stadium's existence, and potential for expansion. With no-one really threatened by right-of-light issues.
