This is completely correct. But him in for the game against Brighton and Wolves instead of KDH and we are marginally better at pressing but exponentially worse at attacking. No way Doucoure could have done any of the plays KDH did for our goals...

He's 19. We have Ndiaye and Grealish. We are in the very fortunate position of being able to bed him in. I am still more excited about him than any other signings we've made this summer.

…..think he might have got the last 5mins had we held a 2 goal lead. Still, decent game for him to further get used to his new surroundings and get a feel for the club.

toffeeblue9 replied to the thread 2025/26 Jack Grealish.
Nah, the reason we were so reliant on him was because we had absolutely no creativity or technical ability in the team, so we found it difficult to create goals by playing football. We did miss Doucoure when he wasn't available because his...

Thanks mate, see where you are coming from now - bit of jeopardy involved mind, but as you say we’ve been in relegation scraps so not out there. It’s actually funny we can use that to our benefit, if that is what we are trying to do! ;)

Well, there's no way of us knowing if cash flow is an issue or not. I'd find it surprising that liquidity would be an issue this early on with TFG, but we can't know that for sure. But, what we can say is that the reported structure of the deal...

An accountant will tell you that a loan with an unconditional obligation to buy constitutes, to all intents and purposes, a permanent transfer and should be accounted for as so. That's completely correct. Some guidance from PwC here to verify...

I highly doubt it. He literally says his own name in his video on the website and it's nothing like "Rule". O with an umlaut above it turns the sound into somewhere between an "urrr" and an "errr". Think of when Özil played for Arsenal and how...

The team that was working below Purdy are largely still all intact, so the work on targets etc that was done under Purdy and Thelwell is all still our intellectual property It shouldn't be any surprise that we've gone after targets that we've...

He is miles and miles away from the required standard. Probably one of the weaker prospects at that level. Incredible athlete but little footballing ability

But that's only the case for unconditional obligations This is a conditional obligation
